Legend is a term thrown about far too easily but where François K is concerned, it is more than deserved. His DJ career can be traced right back to New York in 1975, forever making his mark in disco through his productions and sets.

François performed frequently with Larry Levan at the famous Paradise Garage at invite only parties where no alcohol was on sale, the focus was entirely on the DJ and dancing.

In the mid-90s he went on to co-present one of New York’s most revered party nights Body&SOUL with Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell and Danny Krivit.

Fast forward to the present, he has since played with Derrick May as the ‘Cosmic Twins’, toured the world over and vastly expanded his repertoire to include just about any genre so long as it has people moving all night long.
