Throughout OPTIMO’s entire history they have only ever booked a very small handful of DJs to play the club and most of those were drafted in to take over the club on the rare occasions when Jonnie & Keith were unable to return to Glasgow because of their touring schedule. On their travels they are fortunate to get to hear and play with some astonishing DJs who may or may not be well known.

They decided to bring a few of them to Glasgow and their bi-monthly party at Sub Club. First up at their October party is GONNO from Japan who completely and utterly blew their minds when they played with him in Tokyo.

A humble, unassuming character who resists the constant DJ hype machine, he is possibly the most psychedelic electronic music DJ they have encountered and they can’t wait to hear him on THE SUB CLUB sound system. He is also a mighty producer, releasing on numerous labels globally. This will GONNO’s very first visit to Scotland and Optimo are very proud to bring him to on FRIDAY 2ND OCTOBER 2015.
