Up the Road with Fuse London

On Monday December 29th we’re joining forces with one of London’s finest electronic party heavyweights, FUSE, for a trademark 6 hour showcase with guests Enzo Siragusa, Seb Zito, Rossko and Ivan Kutz.

The residents invited us up the road for some after hours listening…

Seb Zito:

Giles Smith dropped this at Secretsundaze & it’s been in my record bag ever since.

All time fave Garage track from 96, timeless classic.

Kick back & zone out to the pharcyde.

Rossko:

This could be the reason why I do what I do. Remember dancing like crazy with my friend after sneaking into in his older brothers bedroom to play his records – can still picture all the rave flyers on his wall and his JVC stereo! Such a melting pot of genres and sounds. House party starter.

Used to MC to this when I was 15 kicking around on pirate radio, I still drop it now 15 years later in my sets. Timeless.

One for the heads. Lets get serious.

Some one recently sent this to me. Touched me deeply. Helped me leave this universe for 5mins 36 sec. Thats what after parties are for.

Enzo Siragusa:

I’ve had a few body gurns to this one after a good rave, back at home or on someone’s sofa at an afterparty.

I’ve had this record for 15 years and played it out for the first time at an intimate villa afters in Ibiza last summer, love it!

Used to play Miura back in the day, but it’s all about the flip side of this record for the afters.

Ivan Kutz:

This was fired on out the blue from one of my friends a few years back at an after party in my gaff, tears of joy were had! The perfect sing along track with good mates, it’s one to fire on when you think the party is starting die down, second wind material!

One of my favourite Daft Punk tunes, always goes off with the taps aff and bouncing up and down on the coffee table – happy vibes!

I’m a huge fan of the old blues and no afters would be complete without a bit of the big man the Howlin’ Wolf, frightening set of tonsils!

I was brought up listening to happy hardcore and there is nothing better than getting brought back to your youth, this track reminds me of when I used to bounce about Archaos unders in my early teens thinking I was wild!

When I’m with all my mates we always seem to dip into our past and bring back the memories. In my late teens I turned to trance and hard trance and this track by Scot Project sticks out like a sore thumb, regardless of what music you are into you can’t argue with the production that Scot Project puts into this track and all the others he produces. This track always makes my hairs on my arms stand on end, don’t know if it would go down well in a room full of strangers these days mind you.

A right mish mash of afterparty tuneage there from the Fuse party crew with some proper dance floor classics thrown in beside blues legend Howlin’ Wolf, and topped off with a couple of memorably dodgy teenage hardcore floor fillers.

Advance tickets for Sub Club presents Fuse on Monday the 29th  are on sale from Resident Advisor & in store or online from Tickets Scotland.
