After a colossal night in May with Kowton and Bake going head to head, Rubix have invited another duo of master selectors to spark the first of a series of ‘Homegrown’ parties featuring our favourite DJs from around the city.

Joe McGhee and Kris Bell have been supplying Glasgow’s soundsystem with emphatic vibes for years, each playing their part in an exciting generation of DJs and promoters staking their claim in the city’s ever-bubbling underground music scene. Their contributions to the Glasgow melting pot – including revered nights Offbeat, Kunst and Rumours – consistently bring groundbreaking new artists to the fold whilst showcasing their own impressive skills in the booth. With 2 hours manning the Sub Club system together, expect heavy havoc to be wreaked on the Jamaica Street dancefloor.
