It’s going to be a wonderfully fabulous affair with French producer and DJ, Jennifer Cardini, headlining the night. For the last 30 years, Jennifer Cardini has been welcoming people into the discotheque with their sometimes-gothic always-seductive wave-laced house music. Their belief that something more was hidden under the surface of electronic music has put them at the helm of tiny sweaty queer bars, flamboyant Ibiza superclubs, and precarious off-the-beaten-path warehouse raves. We can’t wait to welcome them back to the Subbie bassment! Polka Dot Disco Club founder and BBC music reporter, Frankie Elyse, will be warming up the night with her unique blend of house, bass and breakbeat belters. Performing alongside her for a super special guest appearance will be the Aussie electro queen, BIG WETT. This enigmatic pop sensation has taken the Australian dance music scene by storm with her 90s inspired dance beats, explicit lyrics, and her thumping live show. Catch her make her Sub Club debut. And finally, cosing the night is one half of LEZZER QUEST and Shoot Your Shot promoter, Bonzai Bonner. Bonzai Bonner, perhaps more colloquially heralded and cheered for as ‘Bonner’ when hammering out Hi-Nrg and Italo in the clubs of Glasgow, has become one of the city’s most influential DJ’s and caretakers.
