We are back with the third edition of – AWEH. A new musical experience for Glasgow from long time Subbie family member and former Subculture resident, Esa. This time with Esa inviting Josey Rebelle to join him alongside. “I’ve had my eye on Josey for a few years now after spending 10 years in London. We’ve never been on a lineup together and I am very excited to play records with her, this will be a special night with a particular focus on the Subbie’s body sonic sound system” Come join us for what is sure to be an electric pairing bringing all manner of truly global sounds down to Jamaica Street. Having spent almost 10 years living in Scotland between 2004-2013, Esa returns to share a wealth of musical knowledge from his global travels, discoveries and collaborations alongside of course his Glasgow House & Techno roots!

Esa – “Glasgow played a crucial role in my musical development, and the Sub Club an even more important part in my life, so it only made sense for me to accept this residency to showcase all my musical experiences. I want to present something for everyone but with a particular focus on the unique bodysonic sound system”
