FLY is back in Glasgow for Season 2 of Sub Club Sundays and this time round they welcome Chicago house legend Roy Davis Jr to kick start the proceedings.

Roy Davis Jr. was introduced to dance music in the late 1980’s by legends as DJ Pierre, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Marshall Jefferson and Lil’ Louis. Davis began mixing when he was 13, mixing breaks, disco and then years later, house, techno and acid. He was A&R for Strictly Rhythm in NYC, a member of the group ‘Phuture’ and credited for the rise of the UK Garage scene due to his chart topping hit ‘Gabriel’ with Peven Everett.
