Sub Hub is extremely excited to welcome BBC Broadcaster, DJ and record collector Gilles Peterson & MC Earl Zinger. Who fulfilled a lifetime ambition, by traveling to Rio to create the super-group Sonzeira and record the album ‘Brasil Bam Bam Bam’.

Feast your eyes and ears on the lively sounds of Rio-bossa, samba, Baile funk – and the colourful landscapes, people and culture that have inspired it. Featuring an amazing cast of musicians including Seu Jorge, Elza Soares, Wilson Das Neves, Ed Motta and Marcos Valle, this is a delectable voyage into the beating heart of Brazil.

Gillies and Earl will kindly introduce a screening of Brasil Bam Bam Bam: The Story of Sonzeira in our theatre room. After the screening Gillies Peterson, Director Charlie Inman and MC El Zinger join us for an exclusive hosted conversation in our relaxed café/bar area. Speciality Brazilian food & cocktails will also be served!
