On Friday 24th March 2023, we welcome one of the world’s most renowned music figures back to the Sub Club. Making his first Jamaica Street appearance in over 4 years, Gilles Peterson arrives at Jamaica St with a legacy and music collection that stakes his claim as Britain’s greatest ever disk jockey with the one & only MC General Rubbish alongside!

His return to Glasgow has been long overdue and we can’t wait to hear what emerges from his record bag in the Subbie booth. Gilles is a musical hero of many and those of you who have been listening to his selections, radio shows & attending his wonderful events can attest to what a corker of a night we are all in for! Support on the night will be from one of our own, Glasgow’s vanguard of Jazz & Worldwide FM favourite Rebecca Vasmant.
