The first Optimo Espookio party took place in 1998.

This year will be their 18th Halloween party. In the intervening years Glasgow has gone from Halloween parties in nightclubs being an anomaly to there being endless Halloween parties to choose from and Optimo feel they should break from the pack and call time on this particular annual event.

So, far one last time JD Twitch & JG Wilkes will be dusting down what is possibly the best selection of Halloween records ever assembled, installing our terrifying, no holds barred, no expense spared trademark production and having one last blast of an All Hallows’ Eve hoedown in the Sub Club on Friday October 30th (it’s Halloween after midnight!).

A limited number of advance tickets are available at Tickets Scotland from today. Dressing up is not compulsory but is actively encouraged and it will cost slightly more on the door for those who don’t. As ever there will be outrageous prizes for the best costumes and the winner will receive the fabled “Optimo Halloween Cup” and will get to keep it for all eternity (after we have engraved their name on it).
