We’re delighted to welcome Palestinian DJ and producer, Sama’ Abdulhadi, to the Sub Club booth. A trailblazer in Palestine’s underground music scene, she’s the first DJ and electronic music producer to emerge from Palestine, carving out a unique space for techno in the region. Her high-energy sets fuse Berlin-inspired sounds with Middle Eastern influences, earning global recognition after her explosive 2018 Boiler Room set. Now an international headliner, she’s played Coachella, Glastonbury, and Circoloco while using her platform to uplift Palestinian artists and advocate for cultural resilience. Through her music and activism, she continues to shape the future of electronic music. We are sooo exciting that she’s going to be spending this night with us at Subbie!

Supporting Sama is Polka Dot founder, Frankie Elyse. Known for her dynamic sets that blend literally all genres, Frankie brings an infectious energy to the booth. A passionate champion of underground music through her BBC journalism, she’s played some exciting club spaces and festivals around the world, always pushing for more visibility for femme and queer artists in dance music. Whether behind the decks or on the airwaves, her sound is fresh, forward-thinking and full of character.

Opening the night is the lovely Tekhole, who is a Southern African DJ and producer based in Glasgow. Inspired by the heavy basslines of Gqom and tribal rhythms, she fuses organic drum beats with playful melodic electro. Tekhole’s dynamic vibe has taken Glasgow by storm since she only started playing out in clubs around a year ago. We’re absolutely buzzing for her Polka Dot debut!

We also want to extend a special shout-out to Panther Milk who will be with us on the night supplying some exclusive drink deals and fabulous vibes.
