To start the summer series, Return to Mono is bringing together a brace of Scottish based talents to join residents Slam behind the Sub Club’s decks. It’s important for RTM to continue to shine a light on as many homegrown and locally based talents as possible. Support your local scene! Slam is a tour de force on the global electronic music circuit. The duo’s unique, 6 deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen them play leading clubs & festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound.Their recently completed Louder Than Chaos Series of collaborative releases cemented their position in the higher echelons of the global techno scene. Darrell Pulse is one of the East coast’s most respected techno Djs and promoters. Resident & founder of Pulse, which has been fat the forefront of the Edinburgh scene since 2009. Farnaz hails from Iran and has become an important part of Glasgow’s techno community. A DJ and a Hard/Industrial/Techno producer who caught the attention of many by her unique taste of playing music and strong atmosphere she brings on with her dark, and at the same time emotional signature to the stage. Optimistic Soul African electronic music DJ and Producer, Optimistic Soul has great passion for pushing the underground afrohouse/afrotech sound. His can be best described as dark & edgy afro tech with a hint of soulful elements. Resident Dj at Jaiva Glasgow, Radio buena Vida, Optimistic Soul aspires to continue to spread the sound of African electronic Music.
