The Sun Has Got His Hat On
so……it’s time to release the 2023 edition of the Sub Club Southside Weekender taking place on July 22nd & 23rd.

Saturday’s lineup features long time Subbie cohort, world class DJ, producer and label owner Gerd Janson, alongside exciting Panorama Bar resident duo Tama Sumo & Lakuti responsible for the innovative Your Love parties in London and Berlin focussed on “the idea of community coming together and celebrating the rich tapestry of music” – we’re fully down with that!! Finishing the Queen’s Park Bandstand DJ lineup are local heroes, Subculture residents Harri & Domenic and JAIVA resident ButhoTheWarrior.

On Sunday 23rd July, we welcome the tireless and truly innovative electronic synthpop super-group Hot Chip for a fun filled DJ set, alongside one of our all time favourite DJ’s, the Chicago House legend Chez Damier. Massively respected curator, radio host and former NYC Loft club resident DJ Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy also joins the party bringing her own unique sonic flavours to Glasgow’s Southside. Fresh from a whirlwind of festival appearances, irrepressible homegrown jazz aficionado and Made in Glasgow producer Rebecca Vasmant completes the lineup blending her passionate mix of jazz and electronica.
