Our Subculture resident and Glasgow legend Domenic is coming in to the i AM’s Tuesday night den on the 27th to play a very special set of “Electro” tunes – a theme of his own picking.

Electro can refer to a myriad of sounds, really anything made mainly or wholly through drum machines and electronic instruments. Some have would say it’s closer related to House, Techno, or Hip-Hop but our favourite definition is the old “Kraftwerk and George Clinton meeting in an elevator” aphorism, coined by Derrick May to define Techno, but far better encapsulating the sound of Electro.

Whatever the hell it is or how you define it, you can bet your bottom synthesiser it’s going to be a wild yin.
